- Monitor quality assurance aspects of contract performance in design, manufacturing, and installation activities
- Evaluate contractor/supplier compliance with contractual specification requirements
- Conduct and document inspections (Release for Shipment, Installation Verification, First Article)
- Lead and document audits and surveys of contractor/supplier quality system
- Prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and technical documents
- Attend and participate in project meetings
- Assist in developing special quality assurance training content
Requirements
- Understanding of RFP and IFB contracts and quality assurance principles
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Experience in preparing reports, correspondence, and technical documents
- Ability to conduct and document inspections (RFS, IV, FAI/FACI)
- Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
- Proficiency in office equipment and word processing/spreadsheet applications

Job Overview
- Understands the basic elements of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Invitation for Bid (IFB) contracts as well as principles, practices, standards, and procedures of quality assurance.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Prepares clear and concise reports, correspondence, and technical documents.
