- Report testing results to material producer
- Collaborate with process engineers to create new material when none of the suggested materials meet specifications

Job Summary
- QA QC Engineer / Material Engineer will develop, process, combine and test materials to be used in production based on data gathered and expertise. Materials Engineer will also identify and recommend the most appropriate materials for specific applications.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with appropriate production and process staff to understand the material specifications sought for a particular application or product.
- Identify, select and recommend material based on weight, strength, heat and cold tolerance, cost and durability.
- Measure performance of various materials in accordance with specifications.
- Observe or participate in product testing process as appropriate.
- Gather data and identify the reasons when a material fails or does not meet specifications.
- Report testing results to material producer
- collaborate with process engineers as part of a development and fabrication team to create new material when none of the suggested materials meet the specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in chemical Engineering or Material Science.
- 10 years experience using composite materials either as materials or process engineer
- Previous experience with Ashghal
Skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
