QA/QC ENGINEER - MARINE

Providing inputs in the designing of material as per quality specifications.

Developing mix design for all concrete structures.

Analyzing alternative/ new materials identifying areas of cost reduction within specifications.

To measure the quality of the material and the end product as against the prescribed technical specifications for Quality Check (QC).

Ensuring adherence to the quality standards and procedures outlined in the contract specifications and providing inputs in the design of products relating to quality.

MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point

Overall, 5 to 10 years of exposure in Quality Control function of projects involving the construction of Marine Jetties, Berths, Breakwater, LNG Tanks, Harbors, Quay Wall, Material Handling, Industrial Structures and Green Energy Projects.

Mostly spending time at Quality Control Labs, Batching Plants and visiting site to ascertain if the required quality parameters are matching the specifications. May need to work extra hours to ensure that the projects meet their deadlines. Dealing & convincing all types of people & clients. Maintaining a high-level quality standard at work site. Maintaining a high level of social contact.
