QA/QC Engineer

Job purpose

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans, quality control procedures, and method statements.
• Conduct site and factory inspections at material receipt, in-process, and final inspection stages.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and subcontractor quality documentation.
• Coordinate third-party inspections, testing, and certifications.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports and track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Conduct internal audits, support external and client audits, and follow up on findings.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and traceability documentation.
• Liaise with project management, engineering, procurement, and site teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, ASME, ASTM, API, BS, EN, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct training and toolbox talks, and prepare quality metrics and performance reports.
