Responsibilities
- Implement the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans, and quality procedures
- Conduct inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers for inspections and approvals
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests, Material Inspection Requests, and quality documentation
- Identify non conforming works, investigate root causes, and ensure corrective actions
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements from a quality perspective
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, calibration certificates, test results, and quality logs
- Coordinate laboratory testing of construction materials
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for project management
Requirements
- Experience in implementing and maintaining QMS on construction projects
- Knowledge of project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes
- Ability to conduct inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Strong coordination and communication skills

Job Overview
- The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Conduct inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers for inspections and approvals.
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and quality documentation.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
- Identify non conforming works (NCRs), investigate root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements from a quality perspective.
- Ensure all materials delivered to site meet project specifications and approved standards.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, calibration certificates, test results, and quality logs.
- Coordinate laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, steel, and asphalt.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
