Axon FM is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer for its Projects Division in Abu Dhabi.
The role leads and standardizes quality assurance and quality control across contracting projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project QA/QC activities against approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and standards.
- Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans, Method Statements, ITPs, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections and verify quality before consultant or client submission.
- Manage NCRs, site observations, corrective actions, testing, inspections, and quality records.
- Identify defect root causes, standardize procedures, and reduce rework, delays, and quality risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- At least four years of QA/QC experience.
- Strong QA/QC experience in UAE contracting and construction companies.
- Experience with consultants, clients, inspections, approvals, and project handovers.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, Project Quality Plans, and QA/QC procedures.
- Strong technical documentation, reporting, inspection, coordination, and English communication skills.
