Role summary

Quality management duties

• Implement the quality management system at site according to the approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
• Prepare work inspection requests for construction activities and submit them to the consultant.
• Check incoming materials against project specifications and approved material submittals.
• Monitor work inspection requests and test reports and update management and site teams.
• Establish and monitor QA/QC plans, method statements, and test plans before and during project execution.
• Control approved quality documents and distribute them through the document control system.

Inspections and reporting

• Verify inspections against the plan and advise construction teams on corrective actions to avoid rejected work.
• Inspect materials internally before consultant review and raise nonconformance reports for substandard deliveries.
• Update management, construction, planning, quantity surveying, and cost-control teams on job status.
• Maintain work and material inspection records and provide data for weekly progress meetings.
