QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stage-wise inspection of static equipment and structural fabrication.
• Perform and monitor LPT and RT activities, including related NDT activities.
• Review inspection reports, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Project, Welding, and NDT teams.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, QAPs, WPS/PQR, codes, and standards.
• Inspect welding, fit-up, dimensional accuracy, material identification, and fabrication.
• Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare quality-related reports.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and clients.
• Close inspection observations and non-conformities.

Required Qualifications

• BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• The role requires 2–5 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in static equipment, pressure vessels, process equipment, or heavy fabrication.
