Job summary
The QA/QC Engineer ensures construction work and projects meet project specifications, quality requirements, and client expectations.
The role implements international quality standards, quality plans, quality procedures, and the Project Quality Management System.
Quality system responsibilities
- Assist the Project QA/QC Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer with the site quality management system.
- Establish and monitor QA/QC plans, method statements, and test plans.
- Implement document-control procedures and distribute approved consultant documents.
- Verify inspections, advise on corrective actions, and support first-submission acceptance targets.
Inspection and materials control
- Prepare work inspection requests for construction activities and submit them to the consultant.
- Check incoming materials against specifications and approved submittals.
- Inspect materials internally before consultant inspection and raise nonconformance reports for substandard materials.
- Monitor work inspection requests, test reports, inspection records, and quality-report inputs.
