Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, usability, and performance testing
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Validate software releases to ensure quality standards are met before deployment
- Support test automation initiatives by developing and maintaining automated test scripts where applicable
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to ensure testability and quality
- Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and documentation for stakeholders
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and quality assurance practices
- Ensure compliance with software development standards and quality management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA principles
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools and defect tracking systems
- Familiarity with API testing, database testing, and web or mobile application testing is an advantage
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality software
- Good communication and collaboration skills with cross functional teams
- Proficiency in test documentation and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced development environment

Role Description
- We are seeking a detail oriented and quality driven QA Engineer / Software Tester to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software products.
- This role is responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, collaborating with development teams, and supporting the delivery of high quality software solutions.
