QA Engineer (7320)

Order Lifecycle Validation : Perform end-to-end functional testing of order flows, including checkout, payment processing, order status updates, and returns.

Automation testing : Write and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API layers using established frameworks. Ensure automated suites are executed regularly as part of the release cycle.

API Testing : Validate backend services and integrations using tools like Postman or automated API test libraries to ensure data flows correctly between the OMS and external systems.

Integration Testing : Test critical touchpoints between the e-commerce platform and third-party services (e.g., shipping carriers, tax calculators, and payment processors).

Defect Management : Identify, document, and prioritize bugs in Jira. Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

Regression Testing: Execute comprehensive regression suites (both manual and automated) before every production release to ensure no impact on existing order management features.

Collaboration : Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to provide QA estimates and ensure that acceptance criteria are testable.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably within an E-commerce or Retail environment.

Automation Skills: Practical experience writing automated tests in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium .

API Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and understanding JSON/XML data structures.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, DevTools) and how browser-based applications interact with backend services.

OMS Knowledge: Basic understanding of order states (e.g., Pending, Authorized, Shipped, Cancelled) and inventory management logic.
