QA Back-End Tester (Linux/Unix)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute end-to-end test strategies that ensure software meets defined quality standards and client requirements.
• Analyze system requirements and business processes to identify testing scope, risks, and mitigation approaches.
• Drive defect resolution by performing root cause analysis, raising issues, and tracking them through to completion.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, documentation, and release engineering processes.
• Collaborate with global teams to support integration, regression, and system testing across product releases.

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in server-side or back-end software testing, with strong proficiency in Unix/Linux command-line environments.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex test strategies independently, from environment setup through to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach.
• Clear communicator with the ability to present testing strategies and challenge ambiguous requirements confidently.
• Experience working with defect tracking and automation tools in an agile or continuous delivery environment.
