About the Role
CleverGround is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to support continued growth of its education technology platform.
The company develops mobile-first classroom technology that helps educators digitize their classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the application backend and deliver new features end to end.
- Evolve the architecture for performance and scalability.
- Design, develop, and own components of a highly scalable distributed web services platform.
- Continuously improve software development processes and team productivity.
Preferred Experience
- Three or more years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Python and Django or Flask.
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar databases.
- Experience with stream-processing software such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of algorithms and software design optimized for large-scale distributed systems.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Spark or Pandas is good to have.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS is good to have.
