The Python AI Engineer will support the development and integration of generative AI solutions for the Controls Technology team.
The role applies pre-trained and hosted foundation models through context engineering, RAG, knowledge graphs, and agentic workflows rather than model training or fine-tuning.
The role is growth-oriented, with responsibility for well-scoped components under guidance from senior engineers and AI architects.
Key responsibilities
- Build and integrate generative AI applications using pre-trained and hosted foundation models.
- Support context engineering with instructions, retrieved knowledge, tools, and conversation memory.
- Contribute to prompt engineering, RAG components, knowledge graphs, and Graph RAG pipelines.
- Help build agentic workflows with tool calling, planning, memory, Google ADK, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Integrate agents with external tools and data sources through MCP and A2A exposure.
- Support production deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI applications.
- Perform data preprocessing, document ingestion, and basic API development.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
