Position Summary
The Purchasing & Store Assistant supports food purchasing, inventory control, receiving, invoice processing, and stock monitoring.
The position is full time, non-management, and located at Dubai Fountain Street in Downtown Dubai.
The role is not listed as remote.
Purchasing and Inventory Duties
- Calculate food inventory, order, and cost figures.
- Maintain organized records for reports and invoices.
- Post invoices using computer programs.
- Conduct inventory audits and monitor PAR levels for food items.
- Complete requisitions for inventory and supplies.
- Notify supervisors of low stock levels.
- Verify received inventory and complete reports and logs.
- Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries.
- Reject damaged or incorrect items and oversee returns.
Safety and Workplace Duties
- Follow food safety and handling policies across food-related areas.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
