The employer is seeking an experienced Purchasing Representative with a specialized background in food and beverage manufacturing.
The role covers sourcing, price negotiation, supplier onboarding, and purchase order management for ingredients, flavors, packaging, and factory supplies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, credit limits, and delivery conditions.
- Prepare price comparison sheets and technical evaluations for managerial review before purchase order authorization.
- Issue purchase orders and track lead times to help prevent factory downtime.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Warehouse teams to verify delivered-material requirements.
- Maintain a reliable F&B supplier database across Riyadh and Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing is explicitly requested.
- A specialized background in the food and beverage manufacturing sector is explicitly requested.
- The role requires familiarity with food ingredients, additives, flavors, concentrates, powders, packaging, and factory supplies.
