About the Role
Grampians Health is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join the Supply Services team in Ballarat. The role involves generating purchase orders, obtaining quotes, managing the purchasing catalogue, and liaising with suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Generate and manage purchase orders for approval
- Obtain supplier quotes and coordinate freight returns
- Maintain up to date product and supplier knowledge
- Update and manage the purchasing catalogue
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to the purchasing team
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification or experience in procurement (preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills
- Strong customer service focus and communication skills
- Must hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence

About The Role
- Join the Supply Services Purchasing team at Grampians Health Ballarat and play a key role in supporting the procurement and delivery of goods across the organisation!
- You’ll help ensure equipment and supplies are ordered efficiently, catalogued accurately, and delivered on time to meet internal client needs.

- Knowledge of Epicor and ARM (Precise) systems a plus
- Strong customer service focus and communication skills
- Must hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
