About the Role
Modulex Vietnam is hiring a Purchasing Officer to manage material requirements, supplier sourcing, and procurement for smart robotic housing projects. The role requires 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or high-tech sectors, with strong negotiation and ERP skills.

Responsibilities
- Process material requirements (MRP); issue Purchase Orders (PO), and closely monitor delivery schedules to support R&D activities and assembly lines
- Partner closely with the Warehouse team to promptly resolve discrepancies regarding quantity, quality, or shipping documents upon arrival
- Identify, evaluate, and develop a robust supplier network (both local and international) for technical and specialized components (Mechanical, Construction, and Mechatronics)
- Prioritize sourcing innovative and sustainable/green material solutions that meet international standards and align with the R&D team's ESG objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact to request quotations, negotiate core commercial terms, and draft purchasing contracts for Manager's review and approval
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier profiles, and order statuses in the ERP/CRM system; generate periodic cost and market trend reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Economics, or related Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Officer / Buyer
- Direct experience in Manufacturing, Modular Construction, Precision Engineering, or High tech Manufacturing sectors is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of procurement workflows, commercial contract management, and foundational knowledge of Incoterms 2020 / import export documentation
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical specifications and material standards
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and ERP/CRM management systems
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with ability to handle tight project deadlines
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strict adherence to business confidentiality
