Role Overview
Sunscent Trading FZCO is opening a new office in Dubai Airport Freezone and is hiring a Purchasing Manager.
The role is based in Dubai for six months and requires travel to African branches for up to five months.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is AED 5,000 per month and is described as the set, non-negotiable budget.
- Benefits include an annual ticket home, health insurance, visa sponsorship, and covered travel expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective suppliers.
- Liaise with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations.
- Evaluate products and suppliers against business criteria.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms.
- Issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
- Inspect and evaluate purchased items for quality.
- Analyze industry trends and support sourcing strategies.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- At least two years of purchasing experience; construction project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
- Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to African branches for extended periods is required.
