As a Purchasing clerk, you will play a critical role in our procurement processes, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services while optimizing costs.

Your expertise in supply chain management, vendor management, and inventory control will contribute to the success of our organization.

• Compile requests for materials and prepare purchase orders.
• Handle inquiries and maintain accurate purchase records.
• Track incoming orders and drop ships, coordinating with the Warehouse and Accounts Payable.
• Reach out to suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and secure the best value.
• Follow up with outside vendors on late or open orders and collect shipment tracking details.
• Use closest available stores to make purchases for courier deliveries
• Collaborate with Project Managers to place material orders.
• Assist team members with projects and tasks as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain organized documentation.

• College degree preferred, coursework in accounting, business, or related fields a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Strong technology skills (Excel required); experience with purchasing systems or e-billing software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service mind set with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
