Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value
- Monitor supplier performance and develop strong relationships to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies
- Analyze market trends and risks to anticipate supply chain disruptions and opportunities
- Drive cost saving initiatives and process improvements across the procurement function
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management

Job Summary
- This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost effective procurement of goods and services.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, negotiation tactics, and supply chain dynamics and a proven track record of achieving cost reductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize working capital while maintaining service levels.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop strong relationships to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and lead time reductions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, R&D, finance) to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies.
- Analyze market trends and risks to anticipate supply chain disruptions and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for audit and analysis purposes.
- Drive cost saving initiatives and process improvements across the procurement function.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Experience with electrical products – wires, components, control panels, pcbs, etc. is preferred.
- Track record of achieving measurable cost reductions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong initiative and a proactive mindset.
