Role Description

  • Part time hybrid Purchasing Assistant role based in Dubai with flexibility for some work from home.
  • Support day to day procurement activities.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, maintain supplier records, track deliveries.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices and terms, assist with vendor selection.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to verify invoices, resolve order discrepancies.
  • Keep purchasing documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Regular communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and general purchasing practices.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles and basic vendor management.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, strong organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and purchasing or ERP software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support preferred.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field an advantage.
