Job Summary
Support the procurement team in sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Assist in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while following company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain updated records of invoices and LPOs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory planning.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Research potential vendors.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm or change orders.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Experience purchasing or handling building materials is mandatory.
- A valid UAE driving licence is required.
- Candidates must be able to join immediately.
- Good communication and negotiation skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, is required.
