Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis, as needed
Document management: create and update VTCA purchasing documents
Responsible to support the VTCA team and Purchasing Coordinator activities as required
Support on the Request for quote (RFQ) activities: Create RFQs, send to suppliers for pricing, compare returned RFQs from different suppliers, provide feedback to suppliers
Total cost analysis
Supplier development: Includes researching new suppliers, participating in supplier meetings, cost reduction ideas, site-visits
Support communication internally with other departments and externally with suppliers
Must be able to understand the required specifications from the customers, review drawings (internal and external)
6-12 months production experience
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must possess a good attendance record
Must demonstrate commitment to company objectives
