Overview
We are seeking an organized and efficient Purchasing Officer.
Responsible for procuring Derma and dental materials items negotiating with suppliers and managing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- **Procurement & Sourcing:** Handle procurement of dental materials, instruments, and equipment. Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers.
- **Inventory Control:** Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor minimum/maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, and perform regular stock reconciliations and audits.
- **Vendor Management:** Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-efficiency.
- **Logistics & Quality:** Inspect incoming goods, manage supplier relationships, and ensure proper storage.
Key Requirements
- **Experience:** Minimum 1 –3 years of experience as a Purchaser or Storekeeper, specifically in a dental clinic, medical center, or hospital in the UAE.
- **Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of dental consumables, materials, and instruments.
- **Systems Proficiency:** Experience with ERP systems.
- **Skills:** Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
