Coordinate with design, projects, site, stores, accounts, production, and management teams.

Experience
- Four to eight years of experience in purchase and procurement is required.
- Experience in construction, interior fit-outs, theming, fabrication, hospitality, theme parks, or project-based industries is preferred.
Project Procurement
- Understand project BOQs, material specifications, drawings, and site requirements.
- Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project execution timelines.
- Procure construction, interior, theming, fabrication, and finishing materials.
- Coordinate procurement for multiple projects and track long-lead or critical materials.
- Ensure timely material availability at project sites.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Build vendor networks across Mumbai, Maharashtra, and pan-India.
- Develop specialized vendors for FRP or GRC, artificial rock, sculptures, props, scenic painting, fabrication, structures, carpentry, civil works, interiors, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, flooring, furniture, landscaping, signage, and theme-park equipment.
- Conduct vendor capability assessments and site or factory visits where required.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.
Sourcing and Negotiation
- Obtain and compare multiple quotations for major purchases.
- Negotiate price, quality, credit period, delivery schedules, transportation, warranty, payment terms, bulk rates, and project-specific rates.
- Prepare comparative statements and commercial evaluations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and benchmark market rates.
- Maintain confidentiality of commercial information.
Purchase Orders and Delivery
- Prepare purchase orders according to approved quotations and commercial terms.
- Include material specifications, quantities, rates, taxes, delivery locations, timelines, payment terms, quality requirements, warranty, transportation, and installation requirements.
- Obtain internal approvals and maintain purchase documentation.
- Follow up on production and dispatch, monitor deliveries, and coordinate transportation to project sites.
- Coordinate receipt and inspection with stores and site teams and escalate delays, shortages, damages, or quality issues.
- Maintain project-wise material tracking.
Location and Reporting
- The role is based in Mumbai and may require work at project sites as needed.
- The position reports to the Purchase Head, management, or Project Director.
