Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Purchase Manager to lead our procurement activities.

In this

role, you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services and managing vendors.

The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple

categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers to reduce expenses

and improve the bottom line.

Major Heads Of Purchase

 Machinery and Equipment

 Spare Parts and Maintenance

 Accessories

 Electrical items including Motors & Switch Gear/Spares

 Building Material

 Consumable and Safety Items (Food Grade, Chemicals, Lubricants and Safety Gear)

 Laboratory Chemical and Equipment

 Packing Supplies (Bags, Labels etc.)

Key Responsibilities

 Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify and vet reliable vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate prices, terms, and deadlines to ensure the best possible value for the company.

 Strategic Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies that are inventive

and cost-effective.

 Budgeting: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve

effectiveness.

Manage the procurement budget and provide clear financial forecasting.

 Contract Management: Review and manage existing contracts and renewals.

Ensure all

agreements meet legal and corporate compliance standards.

 Inventory Control: Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure

optimal stock levels without over-investing in "dead" inventory.

 Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans

(e.g., alternative sourcing) to ensure business continuity.

Requirement Description

Experience 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain

management.

Education B.SC., B.

Tech., Diploma degree in supply chain management, logistics, or

business administration.

Technical Skills Proficiency in ERP software.

Soft Skills Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build long-term

professional relationships.

Certification CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in

Supply Management) is a plus.

Performance Metrics (Kpis)

 Cost Savings: Total savings achieved through negotiation and strategic sourcing.

 Lead Time: Reduction in the time between order placement and receipt.

 Supplier Quality: Percentage of orders received without defects or delays.

 Contract Compliance: Ensuring purchases stay within the pre-negotiated terms.
