Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supplier networks in China for steel-related raw materials and Machines
• Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, logistics, and quality assurance
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order execution and delivery
• Monitor steel market trends, pricing fluctuations, export regulations, and shipping conditions
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including political, environmental, or policy-related issues in the China market
• Manage end-to-end import documentation, Incoterms, and customs compliance
• Build long-term supplier relationships to support strategic growth and price stability
• Travel to China (if required) for supplier visits, inspections, and trade fairs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience in the **steel machinery or metal raw material industry**, especially in China-based sourcing
• Strong knowledge of steel product specifications
• Fluent in **Mandarin Chinese** and English (verbal and written)
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Alibaba, Made-in-China)
• Familiar with Chinese business culture, customs, and trade compliance
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Chinese companies, trading houses, or freight forwarders
• Technical understanding of steelmaking processes and raw material quality requirements
• Existing supplier contacts in the Chinese steel raw materials and machinery sectors
• Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
