Purchase Executive

· Responsible for procurement of Spare Parts for Vehicles especially engine parts.

· Manage Spare parts supply and inventory

· Sourcing of Spares & Co-ordinate with Purchase In charge.

· Monitoring of minimum stock level & Total Inventory Mgmt.

· Take inventory of stock.

· Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of spare parts.

· Decide on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.

· Implement & follow up the foreign requisitions for spare parts & machinery supplies within the approved budgets that ensure on time delivery with the minimum costs for all items within purchasing cycle.

· Check all tenders and purchase orders documents' specifications for spare parts.

· Check all correspondences with suppliers and follow up for backlog orders.

· Negotiate with suppliers, if needed, to get the most appropriate prices & conditions.

· Monitor the contract preparation and order placement in the right time according purchasing cycle.

· Handle and settle any claims for any unaccepted items.

· Synchronize and coordinate works & activities with all other Sections / Departments.

· Survey efficiently the spare parts markets for competitive substitutes.

· Generating reports based on the salesman requirement of spare parts and coordinate with the suppliers to arrange the availability of the items on required time.

Requirements.

· Graduation with minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.

· Preference will be given to candidates with experience on procuring vehicle engine spare parts.

Looking preferably female candidate.

· Good exposure of Spares Management for services industry.

· Experienced in setting up of a Functional Procurement Team/Department, establishing work-flows, operating procedures.

· Excellent English and Arabic (Optional) language skills; oral and written.

· Good IT skills and familiarity to ERPs and MRPs will be an advantage.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.

· Proficient with or able to quickly learn the inventory system.
