Purchase Engineer

Purchase Engineer Company: Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan Experience: 3–5 Years Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Job Responsibilities Manage the complete Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle from PR to PO, material receipt, invoice processing, and payment coordination. Review PRs for specifications, quantity, approvals, and delivery requirements. Identify suppliers, float RFQs, obtain and analyze quotations. Prepare comparative statements and negotiate price, payment terms, delivery, and commercial conditions. Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) after necessary approvals. Monitor open POs and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with Stores, Quality, Accounts, Production, and Engineering for smooth procurement. Manage vendor relationships and resolve delivery, quality, and commercial issues. Maintain procurement records and reports using SAP and MS Excel. Required Skills Strong knowledge of P2P cycle and procurement processes. Good vendor management and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and commercial understanding. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel. Good communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and priorities.
