Purchase Engineer

Support price negotiations, cost comparison, and purchase price variance improvement.

Contribute to annual cost saving and productivity improvement targets.

Maintain transparent commercial records and negotiation documentation.

Ensure purchased materials comply with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams for supplier-quality issues and corrective actions.

Maintain procurement records, supplier communication, quotation comparaisons, and approval documentation.

Follow company procurement policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.

Maintain accurate SAP MM data for suppliers, purchase orders, pricing, lead times, and material masters.

Prepare procurement KPI reports covering supplier delivery, shortages, inventory, cost savings, and open orders.

Use Excel and digital tools for data analysis, follow-up tracking, and continuous improvement.

Support SCM digitalization, automation, and process standardization initiatives.

The Person – Profile & Requirements

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automobile, or related Engineering discipline.

7 - 8 years of professional experience in Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Development, Supply Chain, Material Planning in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Background in Engineering manufacturing, instrumentation, industrial automation, automotive, electronics, process industry, or similar MNC environment.
