About the Role
KG International FZCO is seeking a Deputy Manager - Purchase to oversee end-to-end procurement, supplier management, and inventory optimization. The role requires negotiating contracts, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a list of stock items required by the company
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers
- Send inquiries to suppliers, collect quotations, and compare pricing and terms
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms to secure the best deals
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and on time deliveries
- Place purchase orders (POs) with approved suppliers
- Track orders, monitor production progress, and ensure timely shipments
- Coordinate with logistics/shipping teams to ensure smooth customs clearance and delivery
- Resolve issues related to delays, quality discrepancies, or shortages
- Analyze market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and secure favorable terms
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Implement cost saving strategies without compromising quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in procurement/purchasing, preferably with China based suppliers
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficient in procurement software/ERP systems
- Analytical mindset with cost optimization expertise
- Knowledge of international trade (INCOTERMS, shipping, customs)
- Fluent in English
- Organized, detail oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure
