Role Overview
The Public Relations Manager will develop and manage communication strategies that strengthen organisational reputation, public visibility, and stakeholder relationships.
The role coordinates public relations activities across media, digital, corporate, and external communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PR strategies and communication plans.
- Prepare press releases, media statements, speeches, announcements, and corporate communications.
- Coordinate media engagement, respond to media enquiries, and support interviews and events.
- Maintain relationships with journalists, media organisations, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, industry developments, and emerging issues.
- Identify communication opportunities and potential reputational risks.
- Support crisis and issues management and develop communication responses.
- Track PR performance and prepare reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, leadership, internal teams, external agencies, and partners.
- Contribute to thought leadership, corporate reputation, brand positioning, and communication strategy improvement.
