Mercom is seeking an experienced Public Relations and Communications Account Executive for its clean energy practice in the MENA market.

Requirements
- At least three years of PR or communications experience in the energy, power, or renewables sectors.
- Experience working directly with journalists in MENA energy and environmental media outlets.
- Strong Arabic and English writing skills and strong verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects independently.
- Strong strategic thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Agency experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with international teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must be located in Dubai or Riyadh.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day client and project management and ensure high-quality deliverables and timely communication.
- Develop, execute, and manage PR and media outreach plans across traditional and digital channels.
- Identify media opportunities and story angles and maintain journalist relationships in energy and technology.
- Create press releases, pitch letters, articles, social media copy, speaking abstracts, media briefs, and talking points.
- Monitor MENA energy and renewables news for proactive outreach opportunities.
- Secure media placements, speaking roles, and conference opportunities and manage follow-up.
- Collaborate with global communications teams to align initiatives, messaging, and outreach.
- Participate in virtual meetings and provide progress updates to the global team.
