Job Purpose

  • Act as a Permit Coordinator in the verification of PTW's and Risk Assessment.
  • Act as an Isolating Authority to ensure that all isolations are designed, implemented and removed.
  • Act as a focal in managing the PTW Visual Management Dashboard.
  • Act as an Operating Authority Representative to verify work is carried out safely.
  • Participate in Daily Permit To Work Meetings, actively involved in the review of hazards and controls.
  • Support the platform in transferring paper PTWs, Risk Assessments and Long Term Isolations to a new electronic system (eVision).
  • Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure safety targets are met.
  • Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment.
  • Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture.
  • Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture.
  • Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plant Integrity.

Qualifications

  • Ideally, you will have graduated with a minimum of a higher secondary school education plus a three year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
  • Relevant Work Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years offshore level on field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
  • You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication.
  • You will have good interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
