Position Summary
AB Facility Services is seeking an experienced Floor Technician to maintain commercial flooring in a professional office environment.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with floor care equipment and floor restoration services.
Responsibilities
- Strip, wax, buff, scrub, and maintain hard floor surfaces
- Sweep, mop, shampoo, and vacuum floors as needed
- Operate floor care equipment including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, Kaivac systems, and other floor machines
- Mix and use cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer guidelines
- Transport equipment and supplies throughout the facility
- Monitor inventory and report supply needs
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of commercial floor care experience
- Experience with floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing required
