Role Description
- This is a full time on site role for a Psychologist/Psychotherapist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The professional will conduct psychological assessments, provide evidence based counseling and support, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- The role also involves monitoring patients' progress and adapting interventions to meet individual needs while maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Psychology and Psychological Assessment
- Proficiency in Counseling and Mental Health support techniques
- Familiarity with basic principles of Medicine as they pertain to mental health
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse populations
- Licensure or accreditation as a psychologist or psychotherapist in the United Arab Emirates
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field
- Experience with evidence based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT) is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
