Role Overview
Prepare competitive techno-commercial proposals for industrial automation projects across the Middle East and Africa.
Work with OEMs, EPC contractors, system integrators, and industrial end users on automation, project execution, and commercial bidding.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFIs, RFQs, and tender documents to identify technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare compliant techno-commercial proposals for industrial automation projects.
- Coordinate technical solutions covering PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, RTU, HMI, cybersecurity, and digitalization.
- Obtain technical and commercial inputs from OEMs, EPC contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of materials, pricing, and commercial offers while maintaining target margins.
- Conduct customer clarifications, support presentations and negotiations, and maintain bid documentation.
- Identify risks, assumptions, exclusions, and deviations for inclusion in proposals.
- Ensure proposals meet company standards, client specifications, legal requirements, and industry codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in proposal engineering, estimation, or bid management within industrial automation.
- Experience preparing proposals for major OEMs, EPC contractors, and industrial end users.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, instrumentation, control systems, and OT cybersecurity.
- Strong analytical, commercial, documentation, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation and distribution, water and wastewater, marine and offshore, manufacturing, or mining and metals is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Hands-on knowledge of one or more of Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, GE Vernova, or Mitsubishi Electric is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EPC project execution, tendering processes, and complex multi-discipline automation bids.

Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining proposal quality.
Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, self-direction, and organization.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, bid clarification sessions, and project kick-off activities when required.
