When a member experiences a loss, the quality of the claims response matters. As an Inside Property Claims Representative II, you will investigate and resolve moderately complex to complex personal, commercial, and farm property claims while helping members understand what to expect and what comes next. Your work will combine sound coverage decisions, accurate evaluation, practical problem-solving, and a caring member experience.

Three to five years of relevant property claims experience, preferably with an insurance carrier, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving personal, commercial, and farm property claims.
Demonstrated ability to interpret third-party property inspection documentation and independently develop accurate repair estimates using Xactimate.
Strong knowledge of insurance concepts, policy provisions, endorsements, and coverage interpretation.
Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, organization, listening, and relationship-building skills.
A customer-focused communication style and the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle difficult situations with professionalism and care.
Working knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software is preferred.
Farm property, agricultural structure, equipment, and farm exposure experience is preferred.
A college degree and insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, SCLA, or another relevant credential are preferred.
You will be successful by making fair, timely, and well-supported claim decisions; following work through to completion; communicating in a way members and agency partners can understand; and building trust through every interaction. This role requires someone who can work independently while staying connected to the Claims Team and keeping sight of the member and business impact.

Work environment: This is a remote role with periodic monthly or quarterly travel for department or company meetings.
Additional considerations: Participation in an after-business-hours on-call rotation may be required.
