Role Overview
The Prompt Engineer works within a machine learning team developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI solutions.
The role collaborates with clients and subject-matter experts to understand business requirements for prompt engineering and Python development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and maintenance of the Python library.
- Contribute to support of the Python library.
- Participate in prompt engineering.
- Maintain prompts and update them for new large language model versions.
- Conduct regular testing and performance analysis.
- Participate in prompt benchmarking experiments.
- Monitor solutions on an ongoing basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience.
- Hands-on experience building Python applications and excellent Python development skills.
- Excellent prompt engineering skills.
- Experience with OpenAI and different large language models, including testing and performance evaluation.
- Experience with Agile development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
