Project Sales Engineer – Lighting & Smart Automation
Dubai, UAE
- We are looking for a commercially strong and technically credible Project Sales Engineer to support our growth in premium lighting and smart automation projects across the UAE.
- We specialize in:
- Luxury lighting supply
- Architectural lighting integration
- Smart home automation
- KNX / Lutron / Control4 systems
- High-end villas and offices
- This role is intended for candidates who understand project sales, specifications, consultant relationships, contractor coordination, and commercial closing within the UAE market.
- This is not a retail sales role and not suited for generic sales profiles.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with consultants, interior designers, architects, contractors, developers, and direct clients
- Identify and follow project opportunities from design stage to execution
- Promote lighting, lighting control, and smart automation solutions
- Coordinate quotations, BOQs, technical submissions, and commercial follow-up
- Push projects toward specification, approval, and closure
- Attend client meetings, site meetings, and project coordination discussions
- Maintain strong follow-up discipline and organized pipeline tracking
- Represent the company professionally within premium residential and commercial markets
Required Experience & Skills
- UAE experience in project sales
- Background in lighting, automation, electrical, MEP, fit-out, or related technical industries
- Experience with luxury villas, premium residential, or office projects
- Understanding of consultant/designer/contractor workflows
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read BOQs, drawings, and specifications
- Strong English communication skills
- Valid UAE driving license
Preferred
- Arabic language
- Experience with KNX, Lutron, Control4, or similar systems
- Existing consultant/designer/contractor network in UAE
- Architectural lighting background
- Specification sales experience

The right candidate should be mature, organized, confident in front of clients, and capable of handling both relationship-building and project closing.
The role suits candidates who understand how high-end projects are developed and how to manage the pressure of follow-up, coordination, negotiation, and execution.
