Projects Manager

Job Purpose

Project Planning and Execution

• Manage multiple construction projects from award through final handover.
• Develop execution plans and work schedules, allocate resources, monitor progress, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Clients and Stakeholders

• Act as the primary contact for clients and consultants.
• Attend progress meetings, maintain client relationships, resolve technical and contractual issues, and coordinate approvals and inspections.

Budget and Cost Control

• Monitor project costs, productivity, budgets, forecasts, material wastage, and unnecessary expenses.
• Review subcontractor and supplier payment applications and coordinate with Cost Control and Finance departments.

Team Leadership

• Lead project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and support staff.
• Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, conduct site coordination meetings, mentor team members, and promote accountability.

Contracts, Procurement, and Quality

• Review contract requirements, fulfill obligations, manage variation orders and claims, and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement, material submittals, deliveries, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure specification compliance, quality inspections, testing, corrective actions, and defect-minimized handover.

HSE and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, promote safety, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering progress, delays, risks, and mitigation measures, and present status to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and equivalency of the Civil Engineering certificate.
• Minimum 10–15 years of construction experience, including at least five years as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing luxury villa projects.
• UAE or GCC construction experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Credentials

• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering body is an advantage.

Compensation and Work Location

• Pay is AED 20,000–25,000 per month.
• Work location is in person.
