Job Purpose
Lead and take end-to-end accountability for global project delivery from order award through final completion.
Protect project margin and ensure on-time, on-quality delivery in line with the target operating model.
Project Delivery Strategy
- Own end-to-end value-stream performance from bid margin through final delivery cost.
- Translate awarded contracts into executable, resourced delivery plans across the global portfolio.
- Set global scheduling standards and delivery cadence across projects.
- Monitor project margin at completion versus award and drive corrective action.
- Identify delivery risks and drive mitigation actions.
- Improve project delivery methodology and tools.
Order-to-Cash and EPC Interface
- Own the Order-to-Cash process from contract award through delivery completion.
- Interface with EPC contractors and clients on schedule, scope, and technical delivery matters.
- Track milestone achievement and invoicing triggers.
- Coordinate with Finance on billing and collections milestones.
Change Control and Claims
- Establish and govern change-control processes across active projects.
- Own claims-management strategy, including identification, documentation, negotiation, and recovery.
- Drive variation and claims governance to protect project margin from unmanaged scope or commercial exposure.
Scheduling and Field Services
- Own global project scheduling and portfolio-level delivery prioritization.
- Facilitate weekly delivery-control and monthly S&OP cadences.
- Escalate and resolve cross-country and cross-functional delivery conflicts.
- Oversee Field Services integration and performance within project delivery.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Coordinate with Country Operations GMs on delivery execution and country P&L discipline.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Industrialisation on bid-to-delivery technical transfer.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain on material and logistics dependencies.
- Represent delivery performance to the COO, CEO, ExCom, and Board as required.
- Liaise with clients to resolve delivery-related issues and direct corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including significant Engineer-to-Order or EPC project delivery experience.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-site or multi-country project delivery.
Job-Specific Skills
- Ability to manage end-to-end project economics across a multi-country delivery network.
- Ability to evaluate delivery bottlenecks and risks and develop solutions that protect project margin and schedule.
- Strong claims and change-control management expertise.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills across the organization and with clients and EPC contractors.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project-management certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in piping, GRP, or broader industrial manufacturing.
