Manage land survey projects in the areas of: boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, transportation/right-of-way, topographic, utility and construction staking
Communicate with clients and internal groups/employees in a professional manner.
Give direction to survey crews and technicians.
Review work of other surveying staff
Take ownership of monthly revenue and performance of assigned projects
Prepare proposals, scopes, fees and field files for projects.
Minimal travel and fieldwork may be necessary occasionally.
Interact effectively with others including consulting firms partnering with HWC, INDOT staff, local government agency staff and HWC staff.
WHAT YOU NEED
Must hold a current Professional Surveyor License in Indiana (or ability to quickly obtain) with 1 to 5 years’ experience post licensure.
Knowledge in current version of AutoCAD/C3D a must
Knowledge in MicroStation considered a plus.
Microsoft Office knowledge.
INDOT prequalification in Right-of-Way Engineering considered a plus.
Knowledge of construction staking, and calculations associated with staking considered a plus.
Ability to think critically, manage time and problem solve.
Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
Complete competence working well independently and on a team.
