About us Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute, Linear Clinical Research is at the forefront of human breakthroughs, contributing to scientific discovery and advancement through world-leading clinical human trials and medical research. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Clinical Trials Centre opened in early 2024 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is home to our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) and is the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of WA.
This full-time role is based in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands.
Your Role in Our Future The Project Support Assistant works collaboratively with teams across the Cancer Trials Unit and external stakeholders to provide administrative and scheduling support to ensure the effective and efficient coordination of and successful completion of trial activities.
Some of your duties include:
Liaising with the clinic and study teams to ensure effective patient scheduling in line with study requirements.
Liaising with external vendors to schedule medical appointments and ensuring medical results are received prior to patient visits.
Developing and maintaining patient scheduling trackers ensuring patient data is verified and accurate.
Assisting with preparation for monitor visits including reviewing and ensuring previous action items are resolved, specific access is granted, data is accurate and up to date and queries have been executed.
Assisting the team in finalising trial-related documentation.
Conducting quality control checks on documentation.
Monitoring and recording patient attendance.
Your Experience The ideal applicant will have previous office administration experience along with a positive and friendly attitude along with the following;
Sound computer skills with the ability to work across the Microsoft suite
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy across work
