Position Purpose
The Project Specialist coordinates projects in the respective department, including but not limited to company processes and procedures, business systems, etc.
The Project Specialist provides day-to-day project planning, oversight, direction, interaction with stakeholders and all other related project management tasks.
Ensures all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
Principal Responsibilities And Duties
- Gather, analyze and document business requirements and workflow processes that align with and promote continuous improvement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify user requirements and improvements needed to accomplish program goals and objectives
- Design usable solutions for end-user adoption and productivity improvement
- Participate in the development, user acceptance testing, configuration, QA and implementation of the overall solution
- Create appropriate documentation for referencing best practices and knowledge transfer
- Conduct end-user training on processes, procedures and business systems
- Provide progress reporting and prepare presentations for communication
- Report on metrics to ensure accountability in tracking and monitoring of program initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user business system problems; research and retrieve information needed to solve end-user needs
- Maintain effective communications with managers and team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Previous Experience And Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 1+ years’ prior project management experience and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- 1+ years’ experience working on technical or systems related projects
- Prior experience utilizing data to drive business decisions and measure results
- Prior experience in information technology and/or ERP systems
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
