Project Safety Manager - Temporary

The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for leading, implementing, and continuously improving construction safety programs across active job sites in the United States.

This role ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and client requirements while driving a strong safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and project leadership.

• Lead and manage site-based safety programs for commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure construction projects
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and applicable state regulations
• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and competency-based training
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to integrate safety into project execution
• Manage subcontractor safety performance, pre-qualification, and compliance
• Track and report leading and lagging indicators (TRIR, DART, near misses)
• Support emergency response planning and drills
• Participate in client and regulatory safety meetings and inspections
