Role Overview

  • As a Project Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless acquisition of goods and services necessary for the successful execution of projects.
  • This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about optimizing procurement processes and enhancing project delivery through strategic sourcing.
  • You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams, including project managers and finance departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with project objectives, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and establish relationships.
  • Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast procurement needs based on project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation to support audits and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and practices.
