Role Overview
Project Planning Manager supporting planning and scheduling activities across data center projects.
The role covers project schedules, progress monitoring, project controls, reporting, risk management, and contract compliance.
Project Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded baseline programs with project and commercial teams.
- Submit baseline schedules for client or main contractor review and approval.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules using site inputs.
- Identify delays, variances, risks, and impacts to project milestones.
- Support mitigation and recovery plans.
Planning Deliverables and Coordination
- Prepare resource and equipment histograms, look-ahead programs, and progress reports.
- Maintain engineering and procurement trackers, project KPIs, and progress dashboards.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to collect planning inputs.
- Liaise with client and main contractor planning teams on schedule reviews and updates.
- Attend weekly progress and planning meetings.
Risk and Subcontractor Planning
- Support delay notices, schedule impact analysis, and Extension of Time claims with the Commercial team.
- Review subcontractor schedules for alignment with the approved baseline program.
- Monitor subcontractor progress and highlight schedule deviations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 10–15 years of planning experience in construction, EPC, or MEP projects.
- Data center project experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Experience preparing baseline schedules, progress updates, and planning reports.
- Experience with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
- Understanding of delay analysis and Extension of Time processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
