Project Planner/Planning Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build and manage schedules, schedule interfaces, and contractual baselines.
• Run meetings and workshops to challenge project progress and performance.
• Support Planning and Project Controls Managers with schedules and interfaces.
• Produce hierarchical reporting outputs including Earned Value Management.
• Integrate schedule, cost, and risk information.
• Evaluate critical paths, develop mitigation scenarios, and apply delay analysis techniques.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience as a planner in transportation, aviation, energy, defence, water, or rail.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and their application in project management.

Skills and tools

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
